The restoration was completed to such a high level that in 2013 it was awarded an NCRS Top Flight Award. It has remained in the care of prominent automotive collectors since the restoration and it's in spectacular condition.
This example has retained its matching numbers 283/290HP engine and is mated to the 4 speed manual transmission and 3.70 final-gear ratio rear end. The fuel injection system has been adjusted perfectly and is in exceptional running order. Only approximately 510 Corvettes were delivered in 1958 in the stunning Regal Turquoise and only approximately 10% of Corvettes were produced with the 283/290HP engine.
